But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. –
Galatians 4:4-5 NASB

I don’t know any details of God that He hasn’t shared with everyone but I take the clause here “… in the fullness of the time ….” to apply to history.

Jesus was born when God, the Father, planned; not before, not after; His birth wasn’t hastened or postponed by anything.

As a person given to pride, too often my focus is on myself.  I’m at the center of the stories I create in my head.  Upon reading the Bible, however, I learned (and continue to learn) that everything is about God.

I’m made to love, worship, glorify and commune with Him (as is everything else that’s created).

Jehovah God is not playing with holiness; He is Holy. He is not only pure, He is purely right in everything.

Lately I’ve been reading through Leviticus, wherein He tells Moses (e.g. – Lev 4:16:1 and 8:1) & even Aaron in specific detail what He requires (see God’s response to Aaron’s sons not doing what God told them to do in Leviticus 10:1).

Reading through Genesis’ account of God’s direction to Noah this morning and it struck me that God is worthy of worship.  He directed Noah to take 14 of every clean animal (seven males & seven females) because these were good for eating and sacrifice.

2 “You shall take with you of every clean animal by sevens, a male and his female; and of the animals that are not clean two, a male and his female; ” Gen 7:2 NASB

After the waters had receded and Noah and his family could exit the ark he made a burnt offering to worship God because God is good and worthy of worship.
